Perfume for retailers' own brands
We make own-brand fragrance for retail chains: perfume, body mist, home fragrance and Christmas gift sets. The plant has passed SMETA 4-Pillar (Sedex) and second-party audits for retailers including NEXT, Carrefour and CVS, which is the part most Chinese fragrance factories cannot offer a retail buying team.

What a retail buying team checks first
A retailer adding fragrance to its own brand is taking on a supplier risk as much as a product. Before samples matter, the ethical trade team wants a current social audit, the technical team wants product documents and a factory that understands testing, and the buyer wants a date that will hold. We have been through that process with retailers in several countries, and the answers are on file.
Audits the plant has passed
- SMETA 4-Pillar (Sedex) audited. Your ethical trade team can request the report on Sedex.
- Second-party audits for NEXT, Carrefour, CVS (audit by UL), Watsons, MINISO, NetEase Yanxuan, Nice Group, FamilyMart.
- ISO 22716 and GMP from SGS; ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 from ICAS.
- US FDA cosmetic facility registration under MoCRA, number 3016013680.
The quality page lists each certificate with its issuer and dates.
One plant for the whole fragrance range
Retail fragrance ranges usually start with body mist and grow into perfume, minis, home fragrance and seasonal gift sets. We make all of them in one plant, so one audit and one supplier relationship cover the range, and one scent can run across a mist, a perfume and a diffuser.

We run our own brand too
Our group also owns a fragrance brand, BARRIO, sold in its own retail and through channel partners in China. That gives us something most factories do not have: our own sell-through data. We see which bottle sizes, price points and scent families sell again, and which ones sit on the shelf. When a buyer asks what to put in a first range, we answer from our own shelves, not from a catalogue.
Planning around retail dates
Retail fragrance runs on fixed dates: Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, back to school. We plan each project backwards from the date the goods must be in your warehouse. For Christmas, that means the design frozen in early August. The timeline guide shows the full calendar.
Clients we can name
Retail and brand clients we have produced for include NEXT, Ann Summers, Missguided and MINISO. The cases show the work.
Questions buyers ask
Has the plant passed audits for other retailers?
Yes. Besides SMETA 4-Pillar (Sedex), the plant has passed second-party audits for NEXT, Carrefour, CVS (audit by UL), Watsons, MINISO, NetEase Yanxuan, Nice Group and FamilyMart.
How do we get the SMETA report?
Your ethical trade team requests it on Sedex using the audit reference we give you. The SMETA guide shows the steps.
Can you run a range across several categories?
Yes. Perfume, body mist, home fragrance and gift sets come from the same plant, so one supplier, one audit and one plan cover the range. Bath and body items can be added for a wider own-brand programme.
Do you understand retail sell-through, or only production?
Our group runs its own fragrance brand, BARRIO, sold in its own retail and through channel partners in China. We see from our own shelves which formats, prices and scents sell again.
